One of the biggest eruption has been happened in Indonesia, it was recorded in the history after the century era. It was caused the climate change, a year without summer. Did you know that 1/3 of it’s body is in the air?, and the it’s erruption created the radius of caldera about 3 km. Mt. Tambora was 4000 m above sea level before it’s eruption. Now the altitude of Mt. Tambora is about 2700 masl. The complete characteristic of volcano can be found in Tambora. The savana, tropical rain forest that consist of the giant trees, and off course the biggerst caldera. on it’s slope, we will find good rice field with good growing up plantatation until the border of the beach. these very intersting landscape will attract everybody to visit tambora

• Terminal Dompu or
• Manggelewa Intersection (south to Dompu, North to Calabai, West to Sumbawa Besar City)
Itinerary (Time at WITA / Indonesia Central Time)
Day 1 : 3 April 2016 / 8 Oktober 2016
… – 12.00 : Pick up at Meeting point Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin (BMU) Airport
12.00 – 17.00 : Journey from Bima to Village of Pancasila, Mt Tambora Slope. Participant who choose terminal dompu as meeting point, will be picked up at 13.30. and Manggelewa Intersection will be picked up at 14.00
17.00 : arrive at Village of Pancasila, overnight at homestay / rumah
Day 2 : 4 April 2016 / 9 Oktober 2016
06.00 – 08.00 : Prepare for the trekking, breakfast, warming up.
08.00 – 09.00 : Travel to gate of “Rimba” using motorbike
09.00 – 12.00 : Mt. Tambora is getting started, trekking to POS 1, 1200 meter above sea level. take a rest at POS 1.
13.00 – 16.00 : continue trekking to POS 2, 1300 mdpl. overnight at POS 2
Day 3 : 5 April 2016 / 10 Oktober 2016
06.00 – 08.00 : Wake up, breakfast
08.00 – 12.00 : Trekking to Pos 4, 1900 masl. Take a rest at POS 4
13.00 – 16.00 : continue trekking to POS 5, 2080 mdpl. over night
Day 4 : 6 April 2016 / 11 Oktober 2016
02.00 – …. : wake up, prepare for summit attack
02.00 – 06.00 : Trekking to summit of Gunung Tambora.
06.00 – 07.00 : Reach Top of Mt. Tambora 2850 mdpl.
07.00 – 09.00 : Back to POS 5, breakfast.
09.00 – 19.00 : Trekking down back to Village of Pancasila. overnight at homestay.
Day 5 : 7 April 2016 / 12 Oktober 2016
08.00 – 13.00 : Journey back to Bima, End of Trip
